George Stone Limited was established as a master house builder more than 65 years ago and over time has moved away from major property development to specialise in conversion, refurbishment, alterations, home extensions, renovation and re-decoration. 
Our vast experience and knowledge of heritage and listed properties means we also work extensively for National trust.

    Following their submission of a detailed response to tender, George Stone converted our 2 bedroom bungalow into a chalet bungalow which now has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, open plan lounge / kitchen, 2 further rooms and a bathroom downstairs with very little of the original structure remaining. Towards the end of the build, the COVID-19 shutdown happened which inevitably delayed completion and created difficulties including problems in getting some building materials; however, in spite of all this they did a fantastic job. We are now living in our new, wonderful home.
